Places to Eat in Eureka Springs: The Bakers Table Bakery

New Bakery in Eureka Springs

Something to look forward to on your next visit to Eureka Springs – a new bakery! All the locals were anticipating the opening. It looked like everything was ready to go when a new message appeared on the paper- covered windows. “We’ve gone to London to have tea with the Queen!” And guess what, they did have tea with the Queen of England and opened shortly thereafter.

Dream of a Bakery Happens

The Bakers Table is the dream of a former engineer and now Pastry Chef, Karen Emde and her mom, Judy Holden. Judy was formerly in the restaurant business. Like many of our residences they came here to visit six years ago and fell in love with Eureka Springs

It’s a charming little place in the heart of downtown. They serve an assortment of pastries, breakfast and yummy lunch. The lunch menu offers salads, sandwiches, and home made soup. Should you desire a proper teatime they have a great assortment of teas.

Pastries Made On Site at Eureka Springs New Bakery

Karen arrives to start her day baking all their delectable treats in the wee small hours of the morning. Each day brings new surprises. You will find croissants, unique cheesecakes and seasonal pies and layer cakes. On our last visit they had a large tray of Sticky Buns fresh out of the oven. We always walk out with a little pink box. Today’s was filled with a huge piece of German Chocolate Cake.

Bakery Hours

You can check the hours on Facebook and Yelp.  At the time of writing they are open every day except Tuesday and Wednesday. Each day they serve both breakfast and lunch. You might want to grab something to-go and sit on a bench by one of the springs and enjoy your special treat. The bakery is located on Spring Street in the heart of downtown Eureka Springs.

We are so pleased to have a great bakery but at the same time relieved The Inn at Rose Hall is a 10 minute walk away! If we were closer, we would never step foot in the kitchen of The Inn.

Be sure you ask Karen and Judy about having tea with the Queen of England.

Another Great Review of our Eureka Springs Bed and Breakfast

We want our guests to have the ultimate Bed and Breakfast experience when they stay with us.  I can’t begin to express what a great feeling it is when we receive the acknowledgement that we are doing our job right.— Zoie

” Like Mary Poppins, Practically Perfect in Every Way!”

Eureka Springs is known for its abundance of B and Bs, but The Inn at Rose Hall is at the top of our list. The location is within easy walking distance of the downtown area with its many quaint and unusual shops and restaurants. The Inn itself is a beautiful and romantic old Victorian decorated with period antiques. The many stained glass windows are breath-taking and just add to the luxury and elegance of the Inn. Each room had a unique, but romantic character and the sheets were fabulous! Would love to have a set for home!

Zoie and Rita treated us like royalty. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. What a treat to wake to the delicious smell of breakfast cooking and wondering what yummy delights were being prepared. Our favorite were the strawberry and blueberry crepes! To die for!!
We were there celebrating a late Valentines Day, but two other couples were there for their weddings! What a stress free experience in a very romantic setting! Both couples looked very relaxed knowing the details of their big day were in very capable hands!
We look forward to a return visit and will have no trouble recommending this gem of an B and B to our friends and family.
