Can you believe it? The Inn at Rose Hall is on this map as one of Tesla Motors growing network of resorts that offer High Power Connectors to their guests that drive a Tesla Model S, a Plug-in Hybrid or Battery Electric Vehicle–one of only four in the state of Arkansas. You might say we are offering a perk for those that have elected to help facilitate zero-emission travel. Drivers check-in at The Inn at Rose Hall spend the evening, and charge their vehicle overnight. The next morning they’re off and ready for the next adventure in their travels.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk is known for his forward thinking response to a consumer need. In many cases his response happens before the consumer even knows they have the need. Looking at the map above you get a sense of Tesla’s vision for what this network will be like in the coming years. This has all happened in a period of about two years. Travel becomes so much more reasonable to get from point A to point B by simply charging your vehicle overnight. It’s taking the concern out of purchasing an electric vehicle.
As a member of Select Registry, we were asked if we would like to team with Tesla and offer our guests the ability to charge their electric vehicles right here at The Inn at Rose Hall. Originally there were concerns from people about traveling very far with their electric vehicles as there weren’t enough charging stations available to them. We were excited to be a part of this program. We are very much in favor of supporting the green movement by using alternative fuel vehicles.
Destination Charging is leading edge technology combined with the forward-thinking of Tesla Motors. Instead of looking for someplace to charge your vehicle, it can be done right in our driveway at The Inn at Rose Hall. When you settle in for the evening just plug-in and the next morning you can be on your way to your next destination. As a Tesla owner the charge is free. Other vehicles are charged a nominal fee of only $10.00 per stay.
It’s exciting to think The Inn at Rose Hall is one of those dots on the map which wasn’t even in existence three years ago.
